Dunfermline East Conservative Association

During the 2003 Election Campaign, DECA produced and distributed

Local campaigning by volunteers is crucial to every Conservative Association, even in this multimedia age.

It is important that local voters make contact with Conservatives in their own neighbourhood and that policies are made relevant to west Fife. However, not all Party members choose to be active. The small band of dedicated activists is quite a select crew.

We in DECA use five main campaigning methods:

  1. Door-to-door deliveries of our ForthRight, Clear Blue Water, C-View and other locally-produced newsletters and leaflets.
  2. Individually addressed direct mail using the postal system.
  3. Doorstep or telephone opinion canvassing.
  4. Single issue stalls often with themed merchandise and petitions to sign.
  5. Our own website (which you are currently viewing).

We also work closely with our colleagues in Edinburgh and London who sometimes include the Dunfermline East constituency in national or regional campaigns.

Call us to find out what's happening at the moment. Offers of help are always appreciated!
